Diving Competition Rules

Entry forms and other information from the Secretary, Diving Committee.

Each competitor shall submit his list of dives (on the official form obtainable from the Secretary, Diving Committee) either

(a)    to the Hon Secretary Diving Committee, to reach them two days prior to the event, or

(b)    to the Referee, or designated Recorder, not less than one  hour before the advertised starting time of the first event of the session.

 

Submitted dive sheets may be altered at the venue provided condition (b) is not violated.

Dives in the highboard event may be performed from such of the 5 metre, 7.5 metre and 10 metre platforms as are available, at the discretion of the competitor.

 

CONDITIONS

JUNIOR

 A junior is 18 years of age or younger on December 31st of the year of competition.

1M:    4 Voluntary dives to a maximum degree of difficulty of 7.5 and 2 voluntary dives without limit. In each section each dive shall be from a different group. No dive to be repeated.

3M:    As 1m with a maximum degree of difficulty of 8.0 (5m, 7.5m or 10m) 3 voluntary dives a maximum degree of difficulty of 5.4 and 2 voluntary  dives without limit. In each section each dive shall be from a different group. No dive to be repeated.

SENIOR

1M:    5 voluntary dives to a maximum degree of difficulty of 9.0 and 2 (women) 3 (men) voluntary dives without limit in each section.

3M:   As 1m with a maximum degree of difficulty of 9.5 (5m, 7.5, or 10m) 4 voluntary dives to a maximum degree of difficulty of 7.62 (women) and 3 (men) voluntary dives and without limit in each section each dive shall be  from a different group. No dive shall be repeated.
